LOCATION
This house has a very peculiar architecture and is set in a very old village, in west Ribatejo (county in the centre of Portugal with rich soils, flora and fauna).
Within the village it stands near the medieval church that has a round tower said to be from the beginning of the 12th century (Moorish occupation time), and it could have been part of a mosque and also some kind of military fortification designed to watch approaching Christians.
While enjoying the house and its grounds, you can hear the church bell striking on the hour and the half hour as well as several kinds of birds, including storks.

The house has a pyramidal shale roof tower with a lightning rod on top due to its height.
Set in approx. 700 m2, the house has a beautiful garden, some fruit trees, a small fish pond, ideal space for a swimming pool, and two great terraces. Whether in Summer or in Winter, in the morning or in the afternoon, you can either enjoy the sun or a cool shadow, because the terraces are in opposite sides of the building.
There’s an outhouse with a studio apartment.

Garage for two cars, and plenty of storage room.
Indoors: three floors
- 1st floor: sitting room with fireplace, dining room with a very traditional hydraulic mosaic floor, bathroom, kitchen with dining area and big fireplace, and a very sunny sitting room.
- 2nd floor: 5 bedrooms (one of them with cute small balcony), small sitting room, big balcony with great panoramic view, and bathroom.
- 3rd floor (the tower): den with great views, a very big storage area.
The house is ready to be lived in. Furniture and kitchen appliances negotiable.

If interested, right next to the house grounds and with a direct access gate there’s another property, with approx. 3000 m2 plot with some 30 olive trees.
